The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women / University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, held a meeting on Sunday, October 5, 2025, with the committee responsible for preparing the evaluation report on the scientific and academic reality of Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the academic year 2024–2025.

The meeting aimed to discuss the mechanisms and responsibilities of each committee member, as the committee’s work was divided into five main axes. The first axis focused on evaluating the strategic plan and organizational management; the second addressed evaluating faculty members; the third focused on assessing scientific and academic activities; the fourth covered examination committees; and the fifth and final axis evaluated sports halls and scientific laboratories.

During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the importance of accuracy and objectivity in carrying out the work, the necessity of completing tasks within the specified timeframe, and the need to record observations according to the evaluation form’s criteria. She also highlighted the importance of ensuring that laboratories, classrooms, and sports facilities comply with the required academic and practical standards.

This initiative reflects the College Administration’s commitment to monitoring institutional performance and ensuring the quality of education and academic outcomes within the College.
